Night Support Worker – Learning Disabilities (East London)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Night Support Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Service in Tower Hamlets. The role provides person‑centred support during night hours, helping individuals with challenging behaviours maintain safety, dignity and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver person‑centred care following individual Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans.
• Assist customers with personal care, medication and daily living skills while promoting independence.
• Support customers to achieve personal goals, engage in meaningful activities and participate in the community.
• Observe and record behaviours, identifying triggers and working with the multidisciplinary team to prevent escalation.
• Maintain a safe, calm environment throughout the night shift.

Required profile

• Warm, friendly and approachable with a team‑oriented attitude.
• Calm, resilient and able to manage stressful situations.
• Legally eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Required skills

What we offer

• £30,784 per annum, 40 hours per week.
• Annual leave increasing up to 30 days with length of service.
