North UK Sales Manager – Machinery/OEM

About the role

We are seeking a North UK Sales Manager to lead the sale of capital equipment and gas generation solutions for the laser‑cutting industry. You will work primarily from home, travelling across Scotland, Northern England and North Wales to meet existing and prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing client accounts across the North of the UK.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct research and chase leads.
• Consult customers on technical aspects of gas generation and laser‑cutting equipment.
• Travel to client sites, conduct product demonstrations and provide after‑sales support.
• Report regularly to the Head of Sales and maintain accurate sales records.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling capital equipment or industrial machinery.
• Full UK driving licence.
• HNC/Degree in a science or engineering‑related field.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of gas generation solutions.
• Understanding of laser‑cutting technology and nitrogen applications.
• Ability to sell complex capital equipment.

What we offer

• Base salary £45,000‑£50,000 per year plus OTE £75,000‑£80,000.
