Nursery Assistant – Full-time in Tring

About the role

Kindred Nurseries is looking for a passionate Nursery Assistant to join its friendly team in Tring. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn, play and develop, while enjoying a supportive and inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Use a friendly approach with parents, children and colleagues.
• Provide a safe, stimulating and educational environment for children to learn, play and explore.
• Plan and deliver interesting activities that support learning through play.
• Observe and record each child's interests and achievements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and homely setting and follow company policies, including safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to working within early years childcare.
• Desirable: previous nursery experience, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene.
