Nursery Assistant

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming nursery setting in Warrington. This full‑time position supports children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and works closely with the Nursery Manager and Early Years team to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Nursery Manager and Early Years team to maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Support children’s learning, play, personal care, and daily routines.

Required profile

• Recent experience working with children in a nursery, Early Years, or similar childcare setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Confident in supporting children’s learning, play, personal care, and daily routines.
• Patient, caring, and nurturing with a genuine passion for early childhood development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
