Nursery Practitioner – Great Barr (Full/Part Time)

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a highly‑rated early years setting in Great Barr. The role can be full‑time or part‑time, offering 20‑37 hours per week at a competitive day rate.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the key person for a designated group of children.
- Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care.
- Plan and implement effective teaching and learning activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of all children.
- Communicate regularly with colleagues, parents and carers to meet individual needs.
Required profile
- Level 2 or higher qualification in childcare or early years.
- Current DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
- Paediatric First Aid certification or willingness to complete a two‑day training course.
- Comfortable with changing nappies when required.
- Ability to provide two references, one from the most recent employer.
