About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a private nursery in West London. The role is open to newly qualified teachers (NQTs) as well as those with experience, offering a full‑time temporary contract that may lead to an extension or a permanent position based on performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate learning activities for children in the nursery setting.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and uphold safeguarding standards.
- Monitor and record children’s progress and communicate with parents.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to support the overall curriculum.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year nursery teaching experience in the UK.
- Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
Required skills
- Safeguarding knowledge and compliance.
- DBS registration and child‑barred list clearance.
