Online Elementary School Teacher (ESL) – 1:1 Tutoring

About the role

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced elementary school teachers to deliver one‑on‑one online ESL lessons to students in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will work remotely, set your own schedule, and teach 50‑minute sessions that follow the Cosmo curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for each student.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo app promptly.
• Prepare age‑appropriate lesson materials aligned with the curriculum.
• Submit class feedback after every lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
• Attend all classes on time from a quiet, private location.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years teaching K‑12 English Language Arts.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred (not mandatory).
• Fast, reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC (minimum CPU 6000).
• Commitment to at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week during specified GMT windows.
• Currently residing in the United Kingdom.
