About the Position

Join Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp), a premier educational platform connecting high-achieving K-12 students in the US, Canada, and Asia with elite tutors from top-tier universities. As an Online Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of young learners by delivering personalized, high-quality English language instruction.

Main Missions

• Deliver engaging 1-on-1 personalized English lessons (50 minutes each) following the Cosmo curriculum.
• Create a welcoming, fun, and stimulating learning environment tailored to each student's age and level.
• Prepare customized teaching materials to meet specific student needs and learning objectives.
• Provide detailed post-lesson feedback and maintain professional communication with parents, students, and the Cosmo team.
• Manage your availability through the Cosmo app to ensure consistent scheduling.

Profile Required

• University degree holder with a passion for student development.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 English Language Arts (ELA).
• Proven expertise in teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) learners.
• Deep familiarity with K-12 standards and educational programs.
• Professional, punctual, and reliable individual capable of serving as a role model.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Teaching qualification (preferred).
• Strong classroom management and online engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical proficiency: High-speed reliable internet and a high-performance PC (Windows or Mac, CPU ≥ 6000).
