Operations Support Engineer

About the role

The Operations Support Engineer ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations across our warehouse, production, and engineering teams. Working at thepilotgroup’s ArcSett business, you will help maintain equipment, support production schedules, and assist engineering staff.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inspecting, booking deliveries, and dispatching orders.
• Maintain high standards of stock organisation, housekeeping, and equipment availability.
• Assist with production scheduling, material availability, assembly, testing and product preparation.
• Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and respond to minor equipment faults.
• Maintain tools, workshop and testing equipment, and support facility upkeep.
• Provide engineering support for assembly, testing and installation tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse or production support environments.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance activities and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication across engineering and production teams.
