Packing Operative – Food Manufacturing

About the role

Join a leading UK producer of desserts and specialty foods as a Packing Operative on the Manchester manufacturing site. You will be responsible for preparing and packing cakes and other food items to the highest quality standards, ensuring they are ready for dispatch to customers across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Pack cakes and desserts according to company specifications.
• Apply correct labelling and packaging for each product batch.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist the Production Manager with additional duties as required.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or packing environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Willingness to be flexible with working hours, especially during busy periods.
