Paralegal – In-house Legal Team

About the role

ManyPets is seeking a self‑motivated Paralegal to support its in‑house legal team. This position offers a unique chance to develop a legal career while working on a variety of commercial law tasks within a fast‑growing pet‑insurance business.

Key responsibilities

• Collate, index, store and update contracts in the central legal filing system and Procurement’s contract management platform.
• Ensure contracts are properly authorised, signed and filed, and manage expiries such as NDAs.
• Draft and review emails to colleagues, suppliers and customers regarding contractual matters.
• Assist with Companies House filings, including Confirmation Statements.
• Conduct legal research on the Companies Act and monitor new legislation relevant to the business.
• Provide updates on legal developments and support the team with key filing deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong eye for detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in commercial law, demonstrated through studies or related experience.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of contract structures and commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with legal research methods and corporate filing requirements.
