Paraplanner – Hybrid Working, Up to £45k

About the role

I am working with a growing independent Financial Planning firm that is looking to add an experienced Paraplanner to its team. The business provides holistic, whole‑of‑market Financial Planning across investments, pensions, protection, retirement planning and estate planning.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
• Undertaking technical research across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning
• Managing your own caseload and adviser relationships
• Supporting advisers with complex financial planning requirements
• Analyzing client circumstances and researching appropriate solutions
• Liaising with providers, advisers and administration teams
• Ensuring recommendations and supporting documentation are accurate and compliant
• Keeping up to date with regulatory and technical developments

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
• Previous Paraplanning experience within Financial Planning or Wealth Management
• Strong report writing and technical research skills
• Good knowledge of pensions and investments
• Strong attention to detail
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and suitability
• Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines
