Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will perform SOX evaluations, financial and operational audits, and compliance reviews across CooperVision’s global locations, working closely with business leadership to raise control standards and support the Audit Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Perform SOX testing, including walkthroughs, control testing and documentation of deficiencies.
• Lead financial, operational and compliance audits across global locations, from planning to reporting.
• Collaborate with internal audit co‑source partners and external auditors to ensure coordinated audit activities.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to business leadership and the Audit Committee.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of experience in financial, operational or compliance auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm or multinational corporation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field; CPA, CIA, CFE or similar designation preferred.
• Strong understanding of risk management, internal control frameworks, SOX and US GAAP.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data analysis tools; Tableau experience is a plus.
• Ability to produce audit reports in line with professional standards.
