Paraplanner – Up to £50,000 – Hybrid (North West England)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Paraplanner to join a client‑focused financial planning firm in North West England. The role involves producing technical reports, supporting advisers and helping clients achieve long‑term financial goals in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, tax planning, IHT and retirement strategies.
• Prepare suitability reports, cash‑flow models and risk assessments for financial advisers.
• Liaise with advisers to understand client objectives and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure all reports and advice comply with regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate client records using CRM and back‑office systems such as Intelligent Office or Xplan.
• Support advisers in client meetings as required.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) – essential.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Paraplanning role within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax wrappers and protection products.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
