About the role
The Legists, a specialist boutique law firm in London, is seeking a salaried Partner to lead its Professional Indemnity practice. This senior position combines high‑value client work with strategic leadership of the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of complex professional indemnity and regulatory matters.
- Act for financial and legal professionals in high‑value disputes and investigations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic direction and growth.
- Mentor senior lawyers and support business development initiatives.
Required profile
- Current Partner at a law firm.
- Qualified solicitor with extensive experience in professional indemnity and/or regulatory defence.
- Proven track record handling complex, high‑value matters independently.
- Leadership experience within a litigation or regulatory practice.
- Commercially minded with a strong market reputation.
