Part‑Time Employment Solicitor – Hybrid (Farnham)

About the role

Join a respected regional practice in Surrey that values modern working culture and outstanding client care. This part‑time position offers a flexible schedule and a varied caseload covering both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on the full spectrum of employment issues, including tribunal claims, contracts, redundancies, disciplinary matters, settlement agreements and restructures.
• Manage a strong mix of respondent and claimant work, handling both advisory and litigation aspects.
• Draft, review and negotiate employment documentation for a range of commercial clients.
• Provide corporate support on employment aspects of business sales and purchases.
• Contribute to the department’s growth through business development, networking and maintaining excellent client relationships.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across commercial, litigation and corporate teams.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1–5+ years PQE in Employment Law.
• Confident in managing your own caseload with appropriate support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client‑focused approach.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial awareness.
• Motivated by career progression and contributing to a developing department.
