Part‑time Membership & Customer Service Administrator (Job Share)

About the role

This permanent, hybrid position is a job‑share role (Wednesdays and Thursdays) supporting a high‑profile professional membership body with an international reach. You will deliver first‑class customer service while maintaining accurate membership records.

Key responsibilities

• Handle member enquiries by email and phone regarding membership, conferences and payments.
• Administer the membership database, update records, process applications and payments.
• Perform routine data checks, delete duplicates and manage bounce‑backs.
• Assist with annual renewal cycles, coordinate marketing emails and follow renewal schedules.
• Support event administration – draft invitations, manage registrations and adhere to marketing timelines.
• Promote and upsell memberships and related services.
• Generate and analyse reports for the Membership Manager and other departments.
• Liaise with regional directors and client relationship managers to supply promotional materials.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, diplomatic and friendly demeanour.
• Attention to detail and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Minimum of 3 A‑Levels or equivalent qualification.
• Previous customer service experience.
