Part‑time School Cleaner (Monday‑Friday)

About the role
This is a part‑time school cleaning position based in Birmingham, working Monday to Friday during term time. The role starts in September and runs for the duration of the school term, with typical hours from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm (hours may vary slightly).
Key responsibilities
- Deep cleaning of toilet facilities
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpeted areas
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels)
- Damp‑dusting surfaces
- Cleaning internal windows and glass to a smear‑free finish
- Wiping down desks and chairs, removing stubborn marks
- Performing any other reasonable duties as required
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- Two professional references covering the last 24 months of work or study
- Previous experience in a school environment is desirable
