Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Solicitor (2 positions)

About the role

A leading national law firm, recognised in The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, is seeking two experienced Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Solicitors for permanent positions. The role involves handling complex personal injury and clinical negligence claims, working directly with the Department Director and providing high‑quality legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Department Director and manage a varied caseload of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence matters.
• Assist with casework, including court‑issued cases, ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules and protocols.
• Attend clients, take instructions, prepare cases, draft schedules of loss and review medical records.
• Maintain accurate time‑costing procedures and implement supervisory recommendations promptly.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ to 6 years PQE) with experience in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.
• Clean, valid Practising Certificate at the time of application.
• Proven supervisory experience and ability to meet key performance indicators.
• Strong client care skills with a sensitive, sympathetic approach.
• Ability to generate new business and network effectively.
