Personal Injury Solicitor – Travel Claims (NQ‑2 PQE)

About the role

This position is for a newly qualified solicitor to join a specialist defendant litigation team handling personal injury, travel and regulatory matters for insurers, cruise operators and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements for marine, travel and personal injury matters.
• Defend a broad range of claims, including personal injury, travel and industrial disease.
• Manage an independent caseload from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare court documents and pleadings.
• Liaise with ship owners, yacht operators, insurers, ports, hotels and cruise lines.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with NQ to 2 years PQE.
• Completed at least one seat in personal injury and/or industrial disease law during training.
• Ability to handle own caseload and adopt a pragmatic approach to legal and commercial problem‑solving.
• Demonstrated aptitude for business development.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and document preparation.
• Case management in personal injury and travel law.
• Knowledge of marine defendant litigation.
• Effective client communication.
