Pharmacist – Private Healthcare Pharmacy

About the role
Pharmacierge is seeking a passionate and skilled Pharmacist to join its private pharmacy team in the heart of London’s Harley Street Medical Area. You will work on‑site, collaborating with leading clinicians to deliver safe, personalised medication services and expert clinical advice.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of pharmacists to ensure efficient medication dispensing.
- Mentor junior staff and trainees, fostering a positive, cooperative environment.
- Perform clinical checks, verify prescriptions for legal and regulatory compliance, and conduct final accuracy checks.
- Provide comprehensive patient counselling on medication use, side effects, and adherence.
- Respond to queries from prescribers and healthcare professionals, offering guidance on drug interactions and dosing.
- Maintain adherence to GPhC standards, UK regulations, and internal safety protocols.
- Stay up‑to‑date with advancements in pharmacy practice and health care.
Required profile
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom (no visa sponsorship).
- Experience in a clinical or private pharmacy setting, with ability to lead and mentor staff.
- Strong knowledge of UK pharmacy legislation and regulatory requirements.
Required skills
- Clinical prescription checking and verification.
- Patient‑centred counselling and medication safety.
- Knowledge of drug interactions, dosing, and optimal prescribing practices.
