Pharmacy Colleague – Part‑time (8 hrs/week)

About the role

Join Asda's in‑store pharmacy team in Cambridge as a Pharmacy Colleague. This part‑time position offers 8 hours per week on a flexible days‑and‑weekends schedule, allowing you to balance work with other commitments while delivering essential health services to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, confidential advice on health‑related queries.
• Accurately assemble and process prescription orders, including collection from doctors' surgeries.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews, blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
• Support the Pharmacist with record‑keeping and delivery of patient services.
• Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and health‑safety guidelines.
• Complete an accredited Medicine Counter Assistant course within six months and progress to Dispensing Assistant training.

Required profile

• Friendly, highly organised and eager to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills with customers.
• Pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
• Willingness to work weekends and adapt to shift patterns.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for pharmacy systems.
