Pharmacy Dispenser – Store‑based role in London

About the role

Join a busy retail pharmacy team as a Dispenser, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient pharmacy services. You will interact directly with patients, helping them understand their medicines and providing advice to promote health and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions safely, including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collecting medicines.
• Work with pharmacy staff to manage and deliver pharmacy services in the store.
• Provide medication advice to patients and refer complex queries to the pharmacist.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure legal and safe dispensing.
• Stay updated on store innovations and operational processes.
• Support patients with repeat prescriptions and medication adherence.
• Use new dispensing technologies to improve safety and efficiency.

Required profile

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification (NVQ2) or equivalent, or first year of an MPharm degree.
• Current, valid UK right to work (no visa sponsorship).
• Experience in a community pharmacy is desirable.
