Network Educator – Neonatal Education (Part‑time, Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The South East Neonatal Operational Delivery Network, in partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a part‑time Network Educator to support neonatal education across the region. This 15‑hour per week fixed‑term position complements an existing clinical nursing role and is home‑based with regular travel to neonatal units.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery and evaluation of the Qualified in Specialty (QIS) Programme.
• Design, deliver and assess a range of educational initiatives for neonatal staff.
• Provide guidance and support to learners, educators and clinical teams.
• Collaborate with neonatal units, higher‑education institutions and key stakeholders to enhance learning environments.
• Travel throughout the South East footprint to facilitate education programmes and network activities.

Required profile

• Experienced neonatal professional with a passion for education and workforce development.
• Ability to work independently from home while maintaining regular on‑site engagement.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with multiple organisations and stakeholders.
