Platform Developer – Quant‑Driven Market‑Maker

About the role

We are looking for a pragmatic, well‑organised engineer to join our algorithmic trading firm’s infrastructure team. You will design, develop and continuously improve the platforms and tooling that power our quant‑driven market‑making operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain core infrastructure and tooling for algorithmic trading.
• Automate complex processes to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies that can enhance performance or efficiency.
• Maintain existing systems while ensuring high availability and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with a scientific degree from a top‑tier university.
• Minimum three years of experience as a DevOps Engineer designing automation tools.
• Not a fresh graduate; proven track record of delivering production‑grade solutions.

Required skills

• Demonstrable automation experience with measurable impact.
• Excellent development skills in Python or Go.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, networking and storage technologies.
• Proficiency with standard development tools: git, IDEs, CI/CD pipelines, test‑driven development.
• Desirable experience with containerisation, monitoring, logging, configuration management, and trading systems.
