About the role
We are seeking a proactive Platform Engineer to design, build and optimise secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for a regulated financial services environment. The role is based in London with a hybrid working model, collaborating closely with architecture and security teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage AWS cloud architecture.
- Build infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, CircleCI).
- Manage containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate).
- Integrate security tooling such as WAF, IDS, IPS and SIEM.
- Troubleshoot and optimise cloud infrastructure performance.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years experience as a Platform Engineer.
- Strong expertise in AWS and cloud architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud security tooling.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
