Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Software Engineer in our Platform Team, you will join the engineering group to help revolutionize target discovery and validation using advanced machine learning models. You will collaborate closely with Machine Learning and Data Science teams to design, scale, and maintain a hybrid compute cluster and core‑platform services, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and contribute to the architectural strategy for Kubernetes‑based clusters across private and multiple public clouds.
• Engineer and manage the full lifecycle of internal and public‑facing applications, APIs, and services.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient development, testing, and deployment.
• Establish comprehensive monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Implement robust backup, disaster‑recovery, and failover strategies.
• Enforce best practices and security measures to protect sensitive data and meet industry standards.
• Partner with Machine Learning and Data Science teams to understand computational needs and provide expert guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes cluster design, deployment, and management.
• Proven experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong Python coding skills; bonus experience with Go.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
• Bonus experience in DataOps and MLOps.
