Primary School PE Teacher – Slough

About the role

We are recruiting an enthusiastic Primary School PE Teacher for a welcoming school in Slough. The successful candidate will inspire children to enjoy physical activity, develop healthy habits and build confidence through sport.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality PE lessons to primary‑aged pupils.
• Create an inclusive, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Encourage participation, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
• Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs and events.
• Collaborate with staff to support pupils’ holistic development.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE in a primary or school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passion for helping children develop physically, socially and emotionally through sport.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
