About the role
We are seeking an experienced primary teacher to join a supportive, well‑established school in Welwyn Garden City. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, nurture an inclusive classroom, and contribute to the wider school community.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons across the curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the wider school community through committees and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching primary pupils (Key Stage 1‑2).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Commitment to inclusive education and supporting every child’s potential.
Required skills
- Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons.
- Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
