Primary Teacher – Welwyn Garden City

About the role

We are seeking an experienced primary teacher to join a supportive, well‑established school in Welwyn Garden City. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, nurture an inclusive classroom, and contribute to the wider school community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons across the curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the wider school community through committees and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching primary pupils (Key Stage 1‑2).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive education and supporting every child’s potential.

Required skills

• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons.
• Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
