Primary Teaching Assistant (KS1)

About the role
We are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant for a KS1 classroom in Leeds. You will support students, particularly those with special educational needs, and work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement learning plans.
- Promote students' social and emotional development to foster independence.
- Assess student progress and communicate updates to teachers and parents.
- Provide dedicated support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 months experience working with SEN students.
- Patient and adaptable approach to challenging situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma (desirable).
- Enhanced DBS check.
