About the role
Join a supportive network of primary schools in Leeds as a Year 2 Teaching Assistant. You will work alongside class teachers to create a nurturing environment where young learners can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the classroom for each session in collaboration with the class teacher.
- Provide small‑group or one‑to‑one support to students as required.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and record‑keeping tasks.
- Support behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Patient and able to build strong relationships with children.
- Empathetic, kind, caring and approachable towards all students.
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management abilities.
