Principal Associate Solicitor – Real Estate

About the role

Join a leading specialist commercial property team in Birmingham as a Principal Associate Solicitor. You will work on high‑impact real estate matters that shape communities, including healthcare estates, regeneration schemes and major land transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial real estate matters from instruction to completion.
• Advise healthcare providers, local authorities, public sector organisations and other institutional clients.
• Handle acquisitions, disposals, development projects, landlord‑tenant issues, regeneration schemes and strategic asset management.
• Collaborate with Partners and senior colleagues on complex, high‑value transactions.
• Develop long‑term client relationships and identify business‑development opportunities.
• Work with specialists across Real Estate and Property Litigation on multidisciplinary matters.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with strong commercial real estate experience.
• Commercially minded with excellent technical ability.
• Confident managing a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Organised and able to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
