About the role
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well‑established firm in North London on a six‑month fixed‑term basis. You will manage a busy, non‑contentious probate caseload, assisting clients with beneficiary identification and asset distribution.
Key responsibilities
- Handle non‑contentious probate matters from intake to completion.
- Locate and verify beneficiaries for estates.
- Prepare and execute asset distribution plans.
- Provide clear, client‑focused advice throughout the probate process.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification experience.
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance to North London.
- Availability to start in September and commit to a six‑month contract.
Required skills
- Probate law expertise.
- Non‑contentious litigation handling.
- Beneficiary tracing and asset distribution.
- Legal research and drafting of probate documents.
