Process and Quality Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Process and Quality Specialist to join a leading banking firm in Manchester. The role supports a high‑performing wealth‑management team by ensuring processes, risk controls and client service delivery meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for queries on regulations, processes, tools and risk management.
• Deliver training and guidance on new tools, processes and quality standards.
• Monitor risk reports, identify issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Assess client‑related risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with Client Advisors, Account Managers, Desk Heads and internal stakeholders on risk and process initiatives.
• Improve documentation quality, assessments, alerts management and remediation activities.
• Recommend and implement process enhancements to boost operational efficiency, risk management and service quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in financial services, preferably in a client‑facing, risk, process or quality role.
• Strong understanding of wealth‑management products, services and operational processes.
• Banking‑related qualification, apprenticeship, traineeship or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent knowledge of risk‑management frameworks, controls and regulatory requirements.
• Detail‑oriented with a disciplined, quality‑focused approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
