Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer will execute engineering activities, ensuring technical quality while adhering to budget and schedule constraints. Working under senior engineers, the role supports design, documentation and project coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver discipline and multi‑discipline deliverables on time and within budget.
• Maintain project plans, provide progress updates and manage scope/schedule changes through the change control process.
• Ensure compliance with current standards, regulations, codes and internal procedures.
• Prepare estimates, schedules and submit electronic documentation via the digital eco‑system (Slingshot).
• Participate in engineering review meetings such as HAZIDs, HAZOPs and SIL assessments.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve queries and capture design changes through formal change control.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Working towards chartered engineer status.
• Experience in detailed design and use of applicable codes, standards and statutory documentation.
• Competence in quality control, engineering procedures and multidisciplinary design.
• Mandatory offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, Medical) is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Experience using R2S (beneficial).
• Knowledge of process systems, decommissioning and process simulation packages.
• Familiarity with industry codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong quality‑control and engineering‑procedure skills.
