Procurement Specialist

About the role

This permanent position sits at the heart of a fast‑moving media business, supporting a wide range of categories such as Marketing, HR, Facilities, Technology and Financial Services. The Procurement Specialist will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive cost‑saving initiatives, negotiate commercial terms and manage supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and deliver cost‑saving opportunities across multiple spend categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage contract lifecycles from RFx creation to renewal.
• Conduct market research, issue RFx documentation and evaluate supplier responses.
• Perform spend analysis, due‑diligence and risk assessments, providing insights to internal teams.
• Maintain accurate contract records and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Legal, Information Security, Technology and Finance.
• Support the implementation of new procurement processes and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a corporate environment.
• Strong negotiation and commercial decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously on multiple parallel workstreams.
