Product Manager – Global Commerce Platform

About the role

Outpost is building the back‑office engine that powers global commerce, handling tax, payments, treasury and compliance for merchants in over 58 jurisdictions. As a Product Manager you will own the product roadmap from merchant conversations through launch and iteration, working closely with the CEO, engineering and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on merchant pain, technical feasibility and commercial impact.
• Own the full product lifecycle – ideation, specification, launch, growth and post‑launch iteration.
• Run merchant interviews, translate feedback into clear product requirements and work with Ops and Legal to remove onboarding blockers.
• Collaborate with engineering to write actionable specs, discuss architecture trade‑offs and ship features quickly.
• Set success metrics, track performance and make data‑driven decisions on what to build, kill or accelerate.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of product management experience, preferably in high‑growth fintech or B2B SaaS (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Revolut, Shopify).
• Demonstrated ability to ship technical products such as payments, tax compliance or infrastructure tools.
• Strong analytical rigor and a bias for action – you make decisions based on data and move fast.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments and thriving in chaos.
