About the role
The Project Compliance Assistant will support Derbyshire County Council Public Health in delivering the Connect to Work programme. Working within the Wider Determinants of Health team, you will help ensure the service meets internal policies, external quality frameworks and contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and checking of participant documentation in line with the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) and project procedures.
- Support accurate input, updating and maintenance of records across service databases and case‑management systems, complying with GDPR.
- Collect, track and update routine performance data, outcomes and referral information for internal monitoring and reporting.
- Help prepare documentation for audits, inspections and quality‑assurance activities under senior guidance.
- Maintain referral tracking processes to ensure up‑to‑date records and audit trails.
- Gather and organise data required for routine financial claims and funder reporting, ensuring completeness before submission.
- Produce standard spreadsheets, reports and documents to support service monitoring and team administration.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners on routine enquiries, providing clear and professional communication.
- Organise and maintain digital and paper filing systems for secure, accessible storage of information.
Required profile
- Experience providing administrative support.
- Demonstrable experience building effective relationships with private‑ and public‑sector partners.
- Commitment to reducing health inequalities through employment initiatives.

- Fixed‑term contract (ending 2029‑2030) with a Grade 4 salary of £24,796 per annum.
