Project Cost Consultant – Construction Consultancy

About the role

We are looking for a Project Cost Consultant to join our London office of a leading global construction consultancy. The role provides exposure to a wide range of commercial, residential and mixed‑use developments across the capital, delivering quantity surveying services from project inception through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans and budgets for diverse development projects.
• Produce tender documentation and manage procurement processes.
• Carry out contract administration duties throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform valuations, manage variations and provide regular cost reporting.
• Negotiate final accounts and ensure accurate financial closure.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and design teams to maintain strong relationships.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Working towards or chartered MRICS status.
• Proven experience delivering quantity surveying services within a UK consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and confidence in client‑facing situations.
