Project Electrical Engineer – London

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Project Electrical Engineer to join a growing building‑services contractor in London. The role combines hands‑on electrical installation work with responsibility for delivering projects from initial works through testing and sign‑off across commercial and residential sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality electrical installations, upgrades and maintenance works.
• Carry out fault‑finding and diagnostics on a range of systems.
• Perform testing, inspection and certification in line with current regulations.
• Install lighting, power and associated building‑services systems.
• Support site surveys and provide technical input where required.
• Ensure all works comply with legislation and safety standards.
• Complete accurate project documentation.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.
• Knowledge of BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing (highly desirable).
• ECS / CSCS Card.
• Health & Safety training (site‑based practice).

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £45,000 and £50,000 per year, dependent on experience.
