Project Manager – Construction Consultancy (Cladding & Fire Safety)

About the role

A well‑established multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team, delivering technically challenging projects across cladding remediation, fire safety, building safety remediation and new build construction. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who already understands the complexities of remediation work and wants to take greater ownership of high‑profile schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage remediation and construction projects through the full project lifecycle, focusing on cladding, fire safety and building safety works.
• Develop programmes, coordinate design and technical teams, manage project risks, chair meetings, monitor contractor performance and report to clients.
• Ensure projects remain compliant with relevant building safety requirements while maintaining control over programme, quality and stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• Previous Project Management experience within a construction consultancy.
• Strong experience in cladding and fire safety remediation.
• Experience delivering wider building safety remediation projects.
• New‑build construction experience would be highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of the Building Safety Act and current fire/building safety requirements.
• Relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or progress towards a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong client‑facing communication and project coordination skills.
• Confidence managing multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams.
