Project Manager – Storage Tank Installation (Edinburgh)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design and construction of a new tank farm at Edinburgh Airport. The role covers the design phase (2026/27) and the construction phase (2028‑29) for a major bulk liquid storage and logistics client.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for the design and installation of storage tanks.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction teams to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with aviation, health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain stakeholder communication, including airport authorities and client representatives.
• Monitor progress, report on risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Engineering background – essential.
• Proven experience managing design and installation of storage tanks in fuel storage, aviation fuels, refinery, or oil & gas sectors.
• Tank‑farm construction experience – essential.
• Previous experience building tank farms at airports – desirable.
• Ability to work hybrid during design and full‑time onsite during construction.
