Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

A design‑conscious Central London consultancy is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to support its growth across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, education and mixed‑use schemes. The role offers a hands‑on, client‑facing position with autonomy from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Take charge of the financial and contractual elements of multiple live schemes, ensuring commercial clarity from early design through to final account.
• Coordinate procurement activities, shaping tender strategies, analysing returns and supporting appointments.
• Engage directly with clients, architects and contractors to steer projects rather than merely report on them.
• Manage contract administration duties, predominantly under JCT contracts, and contribute to Employer’s Agent responsibilities where required.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years’ experience within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
• Comfortable navigating procurement stages and engaging directly with stakeholders.
• Solid grounding in JCT contracts.
• Relevant degree preferred; MRICS qualification or progression considered beneficial.
• Proactive, commercially aware and confident in client‑facing interactions.
