About the role
We are an international property management business based in Manchester, seeking an experienced Property Credit Controller to join a high‑performing team and work directly with the Managing Director. The role offers autonomy, direct decision‑making authority and the chance to shape and eventually lead the credit control function.
Key responsibilities
- Own the credit portfolio end‑to‑end, handling rental arrears, landlord and tenant relationships, Section 8 notices and complex account resolution.
- Prioritise and manage your own workload, driving outstanding balances to resolution.
- Define and improve credit control processes as the business expands.
- Build the foundations for a larger credit control operation and potentially lead the function.
Required profile
- Strong property credit control experience.
- Ability to manage a portfolio independently and resolve arrears.
- Commercially aware and confident in decision‑making without constant direction.
- Proven ability to build effective landlord and tenant relationships.
