QA Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised QA Administrator to support the Quality Management System of a leading pharmaceutical organisation. You will be responsible for controlling GMP documentation, ensuring compliance with MHRA expectations, and safeguarding the integrity of a paper‑based QMS. This role offers a clear development path towards a QA Officer position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain controlled GMP documentation throughout its full lifecycle, including SOPs, batch records, forms, policies and specifications.
• Ensure accurate version control, issuance, archiving and withdrawal of documents.
• Maintain document registers and guarantee that only current approved versions are in circulation.
• Log, track and support follow‑up of deviations, CAPAs, change controls, complaints and incidents.
• Maintain QA trackers, ensuring timely updates and closure of quality records.
• Verify batch record completeness and support documentation readiness for QA release.
• Ensure compliance with EU GMP and MHRA requirements while contributing to continuous improvement of the QMS.

Required profile

• Minimum A‑Levels or equivalent qualification.
• Previous administrative or documentation‑based experience in an office environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy when managing documentation.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel and ability to work methodically within structured, regulated processes.
• Desirable: degree in a scientific, pharmaceutical or quality‑related discipline and prior GMP experience.
