Qualified Electrician – Full‑time, Gateshead

About the role

We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join an industry‑leading client in Gateshead. This permanent, full‑time position offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring and containment systems across various projects.
• Work on 24V, 240V and 415V AC/DC electrical systems.
• Test, commission and fault‑find smoke control and natural ventilation systems.
• Demonstrate completed systems to clients and provide detailed site surveys when required.
• Liaise with Project Engineers and site teams to ensure safe, on‑schedule delivery.
• Report progress to the Contracts Manager and maintain high standards of workmanship and H&S compliance.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Electrician with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Valid CSCS, ECS or JIB card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
