Quality Decorator – Insurance Restoration Projects

About the role

The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality decorating work on insurance restoration projects, restoring private homes after subsidence, fire, flood, impact or malicious damage. The role involves painting, wallpaper hanging and surface preparation within occupied residences, requiring a professional and considerate approach when interacting with homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external decorating to a consistently high standard.
• Perform wallpaper hanging and all associated preparation works.
• Execute painting and surface preparation tasks in occupied homes.
• Work independently on reinstatement projects following property damage.
• Maintain accurate communication with clients, surveyors and project managers.
• Ensure compliance with Cantily Restoration’s quality, safety and conduct standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a decorator, including wallpapering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and equipment (own van preferred).
• Ability to work professionally in occupied residential environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Experience within insurance reinstatement or heritage‑influenced environments is desirable.
