About the role
We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across apprenticeship and further‑education programmes for a well‑established electrical training provider in Birmingham. You will ensure teaching, learning and assessment standards are consistently high while supporting staff development.
Key responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance across apprenticeship programmes, maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Conduct lesson observations and coach tutors and assessors through CPD activities.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, apprenticeship standards and awarding‑body regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement via quality reviews, standardisation meetings and improvement planning.
- Support the development of teaching staff and lead standardisation activities.
Required profile
- Experience in a Quality Manager, Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) or similar role within apprenticeships or further education.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, apprenticeship standards and quality‑assurance processes.
- Relevant teaching, assessment and IQA qualifications.
- Ability to commute to Birmingham.

- Salary range £40,000 – £45,000 per year.
