About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Reception Agent to be the first point of contact for guests at our hotel in Luton. You will create welcoming first impressions, manage front‑desk operations and contribute to a memorable stay for every visitor.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, delivering a warm and professional first impression.
- Handle check‑in and check‑out procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, providing information on hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Process reservation changes, cancellations and special requests with a customer‑centric approach.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve guest issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Promote hotel services and identify upselling opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized front‑desk area and support administrative tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a customer‑service role, preferably within hospitality.
- Strong service‑focused attitude with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Opera or similar property management systems.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
